Learn how to destroy the Virus in Hitman World of Assassination using multiple methods: distracting technicians, engaging the Kill Switch, or shooting down the Stalactite.

This section details methods for destroying the Virus in Hitman World of Assassination, focusing on the Biolab area.

The Virus Chamber

There are two primary ways to attract Technicians to the Virus Chamber:

1. Sample Collection: Take two samples from the red sections within the Chamber. This will cause the Arm to malfunction, attracting a Technician.
2. Poisoning Rats: In the southeast corner of the Chamber, poison the group of Rats using Emetic Rat Poison to attract another Technician.

Once both Technicians are distracted, interact with the Virus and Raise the Temperature to destroy it. You can then leave the area.

The Kill Switch

An emergency Kill Switch located outside the Lab can destroy the Virus without entering the Chamber. This requires a special Laptop Dongle.

1. Acquire the Dongle: The Dongle is carried by a female Lab Technician who is at the Church.
2. Lure and Subdue: Go to the Church and get close to the Confessional Booth to make her enter. After receiving the Intel notice, leave the Church, enter the Funeral Parlor, and subdue the Church Staff.
3. Hide the Body: Obtain the Church Key, open the Morgue, drag the deceased Church Staff inside, and hide him in the Container.
4. Acquire Dongle and Keycard: Return to the empty slab in the Funeral Parlor and hide. When the Bodyguard leaves, subdue the female Lab Technician, hide her body in the Container, and take the Laptop Dongle and Biolab Keycard.
5. Activate Kill Switch: Go to the Biolab area and locate the Kill Switch on top of the Break/Security Room. Subdue the guard present and hide his body. Use the Kill Switch to destroy the Virus.

The Stalactite

Shooting down a Stalactite above the Virus Chamber is the fastest and easiest method for destruction.

Method 1: The Raised Area and Metal Boxes

1. Locate Raised Area: On the south side of the Biolab, find a Raised Area behind large metal shelving with blue barrels and crates. A Brick can be found here.
2. Positioning: Climb onto the Raised Area, go to the other side, and climb down. Ahead is a pallet of blue barrels, and to the right is a pallet of four metal boxes with two blue barrels.
3. Shoot Stalactite: Go behind the metal boxes and look at the Virus Chamber. The Stalactite should be visible above. Shoot it with your Pistol from this vantage point, which should keep you hidden from nearby Guards.

Method 2: Strike From Behind (Water Path)

1. Access Water Path: At the northwest corner of the Virus Chamber, find the Water Path that goes under the connecting tube between the Labs.
2. Disguise: Enter the Changing Room to acquire a Hazmat Suit Disguise, which reduces the number of Enforcers.
3. Positioning: Go to the center rock at the northeast corner of the Virus Lab. Stand on the north side and look above the Lab to find the Stalactite.
4. Shoot Stalactite: From this vantage point, you are hidden and have a clear view of the Stalactite. Shoot it down.
5. Exfiltration: After destroying the Stalactite, go around the south side, climb over the Raised Area to reach the Ledge, and proceed to the Seaplane to leave the mission.
