Explore Part 67 of the Hitman World of Assassination guide, covering legacy differences, master difficulty changes, safe exploration tips, key item locations, and assassination strategies.

This section of the guide covers various aspects of the mission in Hitman World of Assassination, including differences from previous versions, master difficulty changes, exploration tips, and key item locations.

Legacy Differences

The Legacy DLC version of the mission includes a female Palace Staff NPC who patrols the Bar area and can act as an Enforcer for certain disguises. This NPC is not present in the Season One version.

Master Difficulty Differences

On Master difficulty, expect more Bodyguards in the Small Garden, an increased number of Enforcers, significantly more Cameras, and the removal of the Palace Master Key, though it is not essential for gameplay.

Safe Exploration

To explore the map safely without resorting to rampaging, acquire the necessary disguises. The Palace Staff Disguise grants access to most of the Ground Floor. Subduing Bodyguards and Helmut Kruger allows you to obtain their disguises for further exploration of the Palace.

Palace Master Key

The Palace Master Key, found in the East Pantry in the Basement, unlocks the gates to the Pagoda Garden and the Living Quarters. It does not open the door at the south end of the East Hallway or the gate leading to the Pile Driver Barge.

Basement Kitchen Location

Starting with the Palace Staff Disguise makes it easier to access certain areas for better disguises or quick objectives. It also aids in destroying the Recorder in the Security Room. Many strategies, including those for Escalation Contracts, begin here.

Pipes for Navigation

Several Pipes outside the Palace allow movement between floors:

  • The Patio Pipe: Located on the wall near the window on the Patio outside The Grand Hall, this pipe leads to the 2nd Floor and is useful for bypassing guards.
  • The East Hallway Pipe: Found on the wall outside the south end of the East Hallway (Basement), this pipe leads to the 1st Floor. It can be used to reach the Storage Room and Museum Director's Office, allowing access to the Attic via scaffolding.

Winches for Chandeliers

Chandeliers in the Palace are held by Winches on the walls. Interacting with or destroying a Winch will drop the attached Chandelier, potentially killing anyone underneath and creating a distraction.

Assassination Strategies

This section details strategies for eliminating primary Targets, including associated Discovery and Feats Challenges.

Making Everybody Sick

The first strategy involves taking down Targets by making them sick.
