This section details the various Assault Rifles and Sniper Rifles available in Hitman World of Assassination, including their availability, stats, and special notes.

Assault Rifles

These large machine guns are useful in medium to long distance firefights. With one exception they have three-shot bursts and a 30-round clip with a maximum ammo limit of 120 rounds, plus the ability to empty the entire clip by holding down the Fire Button.

• HX-7 Covert — Available in Whittleton Creek and Isle of Sgail. A silenced variant of the HX-7.
• TAC-4 AR AUTO / TAC-4 AR AUTO Mk II — Available at Sapienza Mastery Level 5, Whittleton Creek, and Whittleton Creek Mastery Level 2. A standard Assault Rifle that kills quickly at close to medium range.
• Fusil G2 / Fusil G1-4 — Available in Paris (G2), Marrakesh (G2, G1-4), Bangkok (G2), Colorado (G2, G1-4), Mumbai (G1-4), Whittleton Creek (G2), Isle of Sgail (G2, G1-4), and Haven Island (G2). Standard un-silenced Assault Rifles carried by many Guards, differing only in noise and skins.
• Fusil G1-4/C — Available in Marrakesh, Colorado, Whittleton Creek, and Haven Island. A version of the Fusil missing the rifle stock, firing slightly faster.
• TAC-4 AR Stealth — Available at Marrakesh Mastery Level 20. Same as the regular TAC-4 AR Auto but silenced. The TAC-4 AR Desert variant, earned by completing the [Master Fortune Teller] Challenge, is identical but has a camouflage skin.
• RS-15 — Available at Colorado Mastery Level 2 and Whittleton Creek. Looks similar to the Fusil but is silenced. Has more kickback than other rifles, making it best used with the standard three-shot burst.
• TAC-4 S/A — Available at Colorado Mastery Level 5. A single-shot silenced rifle with the same range and damage as a Silverballer, but with more ammo and a larger clip.
• TAC-4 S/A Jungle — Available by completing the [King of the Crop] Challenge (Colorado). Similar to the TAC-4 S/A but with a camouflage skin and lacking the Steady Aim feature.
• Shashka A33 / Shashka A33 H / Shashka A33 Gold — Available in Santa Fortuna (and at Santa Fortuna Mastery Level 10) and Mumbai. The game's version of the AK47, with decent range and power but noticeable barrel movement when firing.

Sniper Rifles

These weapons are used to kill people from long distance, best used when out of sight to avoid discovery. All Sniper Rifles have additional features that make some better than others:

• Supressor: Makes it easier to eliminate targets without being seen.
• Versatile Scope: Features a scope up to 4x, making it easier to zoom in and aim.
• Piercing: Uses armor-piercing rounds that can go through multiple targets, walls, and doors.
• Marksman: Has a steady aim ability; pulling the trigger halfway or pressing the alternate button temporarily slows time for easier aiming.
• Extended Magazine: Has a larger magazine capacity compared to others.
