Alright, pirate! So you've just set sail in Sea of Thieves, and you're probably wondering how to make your ship look less like every other scallywag's vessel out there. This section is all about Ship Customisation. Think of it as giving your ship its own unique personality! Most of the cool cosmetic bits for your ship are bought from the Shipwright Shop. You know, the folks who keep the ships in tip-top shape. Some other neat items might pop up from special events, as rare rewards, or even from the Pirate Emporium. If you're captaining your own ship and working through Milestones, you'll unlock Decorations that are just for captains. Pretty neat, huh? To actually change how your ship looks, you'll need to find the Ship Customisation Chest. These are usually found on your ship, and they're where you'll swap out different parts to make your ship truly yours. Here's a quick rundown of the parts you can customize: * Cannon: These are your trusty weapons on the sides of the ship. You can change their look! * Cannon Flares: That puff of smoke when you fire a cannon? Yep, you can customize that too. * Capstan: This is what you use to raise and lower the anchor. Make it stylish! * Figurehead: That awesome carving at the very front of your ship? Definitely a statement piece. * Flag: Flying high from the crow's nest, your flag shows off your allegiance (or lack thereof!). * Hull: The main body of your ship can also get a makeover. * Sails: These catch the wind and control your speed. Make them stand out! * Wheel: The steering wheel is how you navigate the seas. Give it some flair! Don't forget, you can also earn cool stuff like the 'Colourful Sails' achievement by getting creative with your ship's look!
