The Fate of the Silver Blade — Sea of Thieves Walkthrough

Finding Treasure: Treasure can be found in various locations including islands, shipwrecks, barrels, and behind vaults in forts. Enemies like Skeleton Ships, Megalodons, and the Kraken may also drop treasure. Each treasure item emits a colored glint for easy spotting.

Carrying Treasure: A pirate can only carry one treasure item at a time and cannot use equipment or resources while carrying it. Treasure must be dropped to regain full control. Harpoons can be used to retrieve treasure from a distance. Smaller items can be stored in Container Chests, which hold up to 3 items and hide their glow.

Treasure Persistence: Treasure left on land remains until interacted with. Treasure dropped in water sinks after approximately 5 minutes, except for Trade Good Crates which float longer.

Emissary Value: Sailing as a Trading Company Emissary grants Emissary Grade Reputation when picking up relevant treasure. Additional Reputation is gained when the treasure is delivered to the ship.

Selling Treasure: Treasure must be carried by hand to the respective Company Representative at an Outpost for a payout. Each Trading Company values specific types of treasure.
