• Skeleton Ships — These spectral vessels are often found in fleets or as part of voyages. They can be difficult to hit due to their ethereal nature and may fire cursed cannonballs. Counter them by focusing fire on one ship at a time, using chain shots to disable their sails, and being mindful of their cursed cannonball effects.
• Ghost Ships — Appearing during specific world events, ghost ships are formidable foes. They can phase in and out of existence and are resistant to normal cannon fire. The key to defeating them is often tied to the specific world event mechanics, but generally, focusing on their weak points when they are vulnerable and using cursed cannonballs effectively is advised.
• Megaldons — While not ships, these massive sharks can attack your vessel, ramming it and attempting to eat your crew. They are dangerous due to their speed and the damage they inflict. Counter them by firing cannons directly at their mouths when they lunge, or by using harpoons to keep them at bay.
• The Kraken — This colossal sea monster can attack any ship. It uses its tentacles to grab your ship, crush it, and throw your crew overboard. To defeat the Kraken, aim for its glowing weak spots on its tentacles and head. Use cannons and cutlasses to sever the tentacles and drive it away.
