Alright, let's talk about the Smuggler's Hideout. It's a pretty distinct building in Salvation Harbor, you can't miss the nets and traps hanging all over the outside. It's a two-story place, painted green. Ground Floor As soon as you step inside, you'll see bags to your left and boxes to your right. Keep an eye out to the left, just past those bags – there are some bloodstains on the wall. Charles Reed will comment on it, and you can use your Mind's Eye to examine a faded stain on the ground below. Doing this will reveal Omens, leading you to a hole in the floor that goes down to the basement. Before you head down, check the green box on the ground to the right of the hole. Then, head back towards the entrance a bit; there's a locker you can loot. Further in, you'll find more sandbags and a table covered in weapons that look pretty beat up. Charles Reed will even remark on their poor quality. Near the stairs leading up, there's another green chest to loot, and you'll find a good amount of valuables nearby. Upper Floor When you get to the top of the stairs, you'll be in a large open room. There's a pile of sandbags and a hole in the floor. To your left, there's a small room. Inside, you'll find a table with a map, some medicine, and notably, the wheelchair belonging to Brutus Carpenter. Basement Downstairs, at the bottom of the stairs and to your right, there's a small wooden crate next to a shelf with bottles. Keep going past the crate, away from the shelves, and you'll find a corpse. You can examine this corpse with your Mind's Eye to find a golden trinket. Near the hole in the ceiling, there's a piece of cloth you can examine. To the right of the corpse, you'll see some large sea creatures hanging. On the ground near them are two coffins you can loot. In the back left of the main basement area, there's another room with harpoons on the walls and plenty of supplies. Remember that hole in the ground on the main floor? It actually leads down to a boat, which is near that gun-laden table you saw earlier.
