Complete walkthrough for 'A Frosty Welcome' in The Sinking City 2, detailing evidence collection on the Charon ship and the optional Titania Lifeboat investigation.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
On the Charon ship, collect your belongings (briefcase, camera, pistol) to progress. Examine the pistol by rotating it until an 'eyeball' symbol appears and press X.
  2. 2
Use the camera to photograph the mounted fish (Additional Evidence). Examine the flyer on the desk (Additional Evidence).
  3. 3
Loot the locker to the right of the desk for random ammunition and crafting materials. Lootable objects reset upon leaving and returning to the area.
  4. 4
Exit the boat by pressing Triangle to climb onto the dock. Speak with Johannes van der Berg. Select "About my problem," "Where is Robert Throgmorton?", "I need somewhere to stay," "How do I get to Devil's Reef?", and "Goodbye." to advance.
  5. 5
Proceed north along the pier and turn right at the sign. Speak with Robert Throgmorton. Select "What happened to your son?", "Who are the Innsmouthers?", "What do you know about the visions?", "I can try to find Albert.", "Tell me more about the case.", and "I'll be going." to advance.
Tips
  • If you have the Necronomicon Edition or DLC, you receive a Submachine Gun and .45 ABP rounds. Use these sparingly as ammo is scarce.
  • Consider investing a Skill Point into 'Absolute Clarity' for a 5% XP bonus.
  • Lootable objects (marked with a symbol) can be repeatedly looted for ammo and crafting materials. Larger amounts of loot may indicate a more dangerous area.

Completing the main objectives allows you to leave the ship and continue the investigation. Collecting all evidence in a location grants bonus XP. The optional Titania Lifeboat investigation provides an additional 140 XP and an extra conversation with Robert Throgmorton.
