Navigate Grimhaven Bay South in The Sinking City 2 with our comprehensive walkthrough. Discover key evidence, optional investigations, and essential tips for this section of the game.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
    On the 'Charon' Ship:
  2. 2
Collect Key Evidence: Your belongings on the table (briefcase containing a Letter from J. van der Berg), Camera, and Pistol. To examine the Pistol, pick it up, rotate it until an 'eyeball' symbol appears on the handle, and press X. You will receive 6 .38 pistol rounds.
  3. 3
Reload your pistol by equipping it and pressing Square.
  4. 4
Collect Additional Evidence: Take a photo of the fish mounted on the wall with your Camera. Examine the Flyer on the desk to the left of your belongings.
  5. 5
Loot the Locker to the right of the desk for random ammunition and crafting materials. Lootable contents reset upon returning to the area.
  6. 6
    After Leaving the Ship:
  7. 7
Climb onto the dock by pressing Triangle.
  8. 8
Converse with Johannes van der Berg. Key dialogue options to advance the game are: "About my problem.", "Where is Robert Throgmorton?", "I need somewhere to stay.", "How do I get to Devil's Reef?", "Goodbye.". Choosing "I need somewhere to stay" locks out other dialogue branches.
  9. 9
Proceed north along the pier and turn right at the sign.
  10. 10
Converse with Robert Throgmorton. Key dialogue options to advance the game are: "What happened to your son?", "Who are the Innsmouthers?", "What do you know about the visions?", "I can try to find Albert.", "Tell me more about the case.", "I'll be going.".
  11. 11
    Optional Investigation: Titania Lifeboat:
  12. 12
Return to the sign that pointed to the exit. Go left down a path, then left toward the sea. The lifeboat is beyond police barricades.
  13. 13
Collect Additional Evidence: Inspect the Lifeboat Name "TITANIA". Search the Diving Helmet (rotate and look at the front faceplate). Collect Albert Throgmorton's will from a seat inside the lifeboat. Climbing inside requires pressing Triangle.
  14. 14
Note: While examining the Diving Helmet, your sanity will drain. Do not hold it for too long.
  15. 15
Returning Albert's Will to Robert Throgmorton unlocks an optional conversation.
Tips
  • If you own the Necronomicon Edition or DLC, you receive a Submachine Gun and 30 .45 ABP rounds. Use this ammo sparingly as it replenishes slowly.
  • Consider investing a Skill Point into the "Absolute Clarity" Mind skill for a 5% XP bonus.
  • Lootable objects (marked with a specific symbol) can be repeatedly looted for ammunition and crafting materials. Larger supplies may indicate a more dangerous area.
  • The Titania Lifeboat investigation is optional, does not add to your casebook, but grants extra XP and an additional conversation.
  • Collecting all key evidence on the ship grants an additional 140 XP.
  • Completing the optional Titania Lifeboat investigation grants an additional 140 XP.
  • Unlocking an optional conversation with Robert Throgmorton by returning Albert's Will.
