Walkthrough
- 1On the Charon Ship:
- Collect your belongings from the table. This is key evidence.
- 2Pick up the Letter from J. van der Berg from the briefcase.
- 3Examine the Camera.
- 4Pick up the Pistol, rotate it until an eyeball symbol appears on the handle, and press X to examine it. You will receive 6 .38 pistol rounds.
- 5Use your camera to take a picture of the strange fish mounted on the wall (Additional Evidence).
- 6Examine the flyer on the desk (Additional Evidence).
- 7Loot the locker to the right of the desk. Lootable contents are randomized and can be reset by leaving and returning to the area.
- 8After Leaving the Ship:
- Climb onto the dock by pressing Triangle.
- 9Converse with Johannes van der Berg. Select "About my problem," "Where is Robert Throgmorton?", "I need somewhere to stay," "How do I get to Devil's Reef?", and finally "Goodbye."
- 10Proceed north along the pier to a sign. Turn right towards the bar and exit.
- 11Go up the stairs to automatically start a conversation with Robert Throgmorton. Select "What happened to your son?", "Who are the Innsmouthers?", "What do you know about the visions?", "I can try to find Albert.", "Tell me more about the case.", and finally "I'll be going."
- 12Optional: Titania Lifeboat (Robert's Request):
- Return to the sign that pointed to the exit.
- 13Go left down a path, then left towards the sea.
- 14Find the lifeboat beyond police barricades.
- 15Inspect the Lifeboat Name 'TITANIA'.
- 16Examine the Diving Helmet, rotating it to search its front faceplate. Be mindful of sanity drain.
- 17Pick up Albert Throgmorton's will from a seat inside the lifeboat.
- 18After finding the will, return to Robert Throgmorton to unlock an optional conversation.
Tips
- If you have the Necronomicon Edition or DLC, you receive a Submachine Gun and .45 ACP rounds. Use these sparingly as they deplete quickly.
- Consider putting your free Skill Point (if applicable) into the Absolute Clarity Mind skill for a 5% XP bonus.
- Lootable objects (marked with a symbol) can be repeatedly looted for ammunition and crafting materials.
