   Scavenge the starting area thoroughly for any available resources, prioritizing medical supplies and ammunition.

   Equip your starting pistol and familiarize yourself with its reload mechanism.

   Collect your personal belongings from the table, which includes your pistol and essential documents.

   Examine the pistol by rotating it until an 'eyeball' symbol appears on the handle and pressing X.

   Take a photograph of the trophy fish on the wall using your camera.

   Examine the flyer on the desk to the left of your starting table.

   Loot the locker to the right of the desk for additional supplies.

   Exit the ship by climbing onto the dock using the Triangle button.

   Engage in the conversation with Johannes van der Berg, selecting dialogue options that advance the plot.

    Proceed north along the pier and turn right at the sign pointing towards the exit and bar.

    Climb the stairs to initiate a conversation with Robert Throgmorton.

Tips

• The Submachine Gun, if acquired via DLC, is powerful but consumes ammunition rapidly. Save its use for critical moments.
• Consider investing the initial Skill Point into 'Absolute Clarity' for a 5% XP bonus.
• Lootable objects marked with a specific symbol can be repeatedly searched for ammunition and crafting materials. Resetting the area allows for further looting.
• Be aware that lootable containers with large amounts of supplies may indicate a higher concentration of dangerous enemies nearby.
• The diving helmet in the optional lifeboat investigation can drain your sanity; do not hold it for too long.

Collecting all key evidence on the ship grants an additional 140 XP. Completing the optional Lifeboat Titania investigation also rewards 140 XP and unlocks an additional conversation with Robert Throgmorton.
