Walkthrough

After a scene, head upstairs to Reed's office.

Interact with the clipping on the bulletin board. This will reveal the clue "Another scientist dead!" (LORE, City).

Warning: If Reed only kills Usha or kills Usha first, the clipping "Oakmont chupacabra gone?!" (LORE, City) will be present instead of "Another scientist dead!".

Interact with the journal on the table near the foot of the bed.

This reveals two new clues: "New Mind Palace clue" (The Seed might not die) and "The Prophecy, with my notes" (CASEBOOK, Into The Depths).

In the Mind Palace (a mental space where you connect clues), combine the clues "I am the Seed" and "The Seed might not die".

This deduction will result in the clue "I might survive" (MIND PALACE, DEDUCTION).

Interact with the open journal that is revealed after the previous interaction.

This will remove the "The Final Step" casebook entry and reveal two new clues: "New Mind Palace clue" (Cthygonnaar holds the Daughter) and "Putting everything together" (CASEBOOK, Into The Depths).

Leave the hotel to complete this part of the COVERSIDE section.
