Complete walkthrough for The Sinking City 2's 'Lost At Sea' mission. Find key evidence, collect optional items, and navigate conversations with NPCs to progress.
Walkthrough
- 1On the 'Charon' Ship:
- 2Collect Key Evidence: Your belongings (briefcase containing Letter from J. van der Berg), Camera, and Pistol. To collect the pistol, pick it up, rotate it until an 'eyeball' symbol appears on the handle, and press X to examine. You will receive 6 .38 pistol rounds.
- 3Collect Additional Evidence: Use the Camera to photograph the trophy plate (fish on the wall) and examine the Flyer on the desk.
- 4Lootables: Search the locker to the right of the desk. Lootable contents are randomized and can be reset by leaving and returning to the area.
- 5Exit the boat by climbing onto the dock (Triangle).
- 6Conversation with Johannes van der Berg:
- 7Select dialogue options to progress: "About my problem.", "Where is Robert Throgmorton?", "I need somewhere to stay.", "How do I get to Devil's Reef?", "Goodbye.". Note that choosing specific options locks out others.
- 8Conversation with Robert Throgmorton:
- 9Proceed north along the pier and turn right at the sign.
- 10Select dialogue options to progress: "What happened to your son?", "Who are the Innsmouthers?", "What do you know about the visions?", "I can try to find Albert.", "Tell me more about the case.", "I'll be going.". Optional questions can be asked before "I'll be going.".
- 11Optional: Titania Lifeboat Investigation:
- 12From the sign, go left down a path and left towards the sea. The lifeboat is beyond police barricades.
- 13Collect Additional Evidence: Inspect the Lifeboat Name ('TITANIA'), rotate and examine the Diving Helmet (do not hold for too long due to sanity drain), and pick up Albert Throgmorton's will from a seat.
- 14Return to Robert Throgmorton with the will to unlock an optional conversation.
Tips

- Reload your gun by equipping it and pressing Square.
- Lootable objects can be repeatedly searched for ammunition and crafting materials. Higher amounts of loot may indicate more dangerous areas.
- Collecting all key evidence on the ship grants an additional 140 XP.
- Completing the optional Titania Lifeboat investigation grants an additional 140 XP and unlocks an additional conversation with Robert Throgmorton.
