Complete walkthrough for 'A Frosty Welcome' in The Sinking City 2. Find key evidence on the 'Charon' ship and explore the optional Titania Lifeboat.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
On the 'Charon' ship, collect your Key Evidence: your belongings on the table. This includes the Letter from J. van der Berg (from the briefcase), the Camera, and your Pistol. To collect the pistol, pick it up, rotate it until the 'eyeball' symbol appears on the handle, and press X to examine. You will receive 6 .38 pistol rounds.
  2. 2
To reload your gun, hold L1 to bring up the weapon wheel, select the gun, and press Square.
  3. 3
Collect Additional Evidence: Use your camera to take a photo of the trophy plate (fish on the wall). Examine the flyer on the desk to the left of the table.
  4. 4
Loot any Locker objects for ammunition and crafting materials. These reset when you leave and return.
  5. 5
Exit the boat by climbing onto the dock (press Triangle).
  6. 6
Speak with Johannes van der Berg. To advance, select "About my problem.", "Where is Robert Throgmorton?", "I need somewhere to stay.", "How do I get to Devil's Reef?", and "Goodbye.".
  7. 7
Proceed north along the pier to a sign pointing to a bar and an exit. Turn right towards the exit.
  8. 8
Speak with Robert Throgmorton. To advance, select "What happened to your son?", "Who are the Innsmouthers?", "What do you know about the visions?", "I can try to find Albert.", "Tell me more about the case.", and "I'll be going.".
Tips
  • If you own the Necronomicon Edition or DLC, you receive a Submachine Gun and 30 .45 ACP rounds. Use these sparingly as they are quickly depleted.
  • Consider putting a free Skill Point (if received via DLC) into the 'Absolute Clarity' Mind skill for a 5% XP bonus.
  • Lootable objects (marked with a specific symbol) can be repeatedly looted for ammo and crafting materials. Be cautious, as large amounts of loot may indicate nearby danger.

Collecting all evidence on the ship grants an additional 140 XP. Completing the optional Titania Lifeboat investigation also grants 140 XP and unlocks an additional conversation with Robert Throgmorton.
