Complete walkthrough for The Sinking City 2's 'A Frosty Welcome' quest, including key evidence, optional investigations, and NPC interactions.
Walkthrough
- 1Investigate the 'Charon' Ship: This is your first investigation location. Collect key evidence by taking your belongings (briefcase, camera, pistol). Examine the pistol by rotating it until an eyeball symbol appears on the handle and pressing X. Collect 6 .38 pistol rounds.
- 2Collect Additional Evidence: Use your camera to photograph the mounted fish (Photo of a trophy plate). Examine the flyer on the desk (Flyer).
- 3Lootables: Search the locker to the right of the desk. Lootable contents are randomized and can be re-looted after leaving and returning to the area.
- 4Speak to Johannes van der Berg: After leaving the boat, climb onto the dock (Triangle). Select dialogue options to advance the conversation: "About my problem.", "Where is Robert Throgmorton?", "I need somewhere to stay.", "How do I get to Devil's Reef?", "Goodbye.". Note that optional dialogue branches are lost after saying goodbye.
- 5Find Robert Throgmorton: Proceed north along the pier and turn right at the sign. Climb the stairs to automatically start a conversation with Robert Throgmorton. Select dialogue options to advance: "What happened to your son?", "Who are the Innsmouthers?", "What do you know about the visions?", "I can try to find Albert.", "Tell me more about the case.", "I'll be going.". Optional questions can be asked before selecting "I'll be going.".
- 6Optional Investigation: Lifeboat Titania: Return to the sign, go left down a path, and left towards the sea. Find the lifeboat beyond police barricades.
- 7Collect Evidence at Lifeboat Titania: Inspect the lifeboat name (TITANIA). Rotate the Diving Helmet and search its front faceplate. Find Albert Throgmorton's will on a seat. Climb inside the lifeboat (Triangle) to access some evidence. Looking at the diving helmet will drain sanity.
- 8Return to Robert Throgmorton: After finding Albert's Will, return to Robert Throgmorton to unlock an optional conversation.
