Discover the details of the 'Note to Maurice' in The Sinking City 2. Learn about its significance, location, and any associated objectives or rewards in this comprehensive walkthrough.
Walkthrough
- 1Upon starting the game, you'll find yourself on the 'Charon' ship. This is your first investigation location.
- 2Your primary objective is to collect key evidence. This includes your belongings on a table.
- 3Among your belongings, you will find the Letter from J. van der Berg. This is the 'Note to Maurice' and is automatically collected when you take your briefcase.
- 4To progress, you must also collect the Camera and the Pistol. The pistol requires a specific interaction: pick it up, rotate it until an 'eyeball' symbol appears on the handle, and press X to examine it. You will also receive 6 .38 pistol rounds.
- 5After collecting the key evidence, you can find additional evidence:
- 6Photo of a trophy plate: Use your camera to photograph the fish mounted on the wall.
- 7Flyer: Examine the flyer on the desk.
- 8Lootables: A locker is present to the right of the desk. Lootable contents are randomized and can be re-looted after returning to the area.
- 9Once you have collected the necessary evidence, you can exit the ship by climbing onto the dock (press Triangle).
Tips
- The Submachine Gun and x30 .45 ABP rounds are provided if you purchased the Necronomicon Edition or associated DLC. This weapon consumes ammunition quickly, so use it sparingly.
- Consider putting the free Skill Point (if received via DLC) into the Absolute Clarity Mind skill for a 5% XP bonus.
- Remember to reload your pistol by holding L1 to bring up the weapon wheel and pressing Square.
- The 'Note to Maurice' (Letter from J. van der Berg) is essential for advancing the 'A Frosty Welcome' case.
