Navigate the Fish Market (7) in The Sinking City 2 with our comprehensive walkthrough. Find all key evidence, complete objectives, and uncover the secrets of this challenging location.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Upon arriving at the "Charon" Ship, which serves as your first investigation location, collect your belongings from the table. This includes your briefcase, which contains the Letter from J. van der Berg, your Camera, and your Pistol.
  2. 2
To collect the Pistol, pick it up, rotate it until an "eyeball" symbol appears on the handle, and press X to examine it. You will also receive 6 .38 pistol rounds. Note that your gun is not loaded and requires reloading (hold L1, select gun, press Square).
  3. 3
Examine the flyer on the desk to the left of your belongings.
  4. 4
Use your camera to take a picture of the strange fish mounted on the wall.
  5. 5
Search the locker to the right of the desk. Lootable objects can be reset by leaving the area and returning, providing ammunition and crafting materials.
  6. 6
Exit the boat by climbing onto the dock (Triangle).
  7. 7
Speak with Johannes van der Berg. To advance the game, select the dialogue options: "About my problem.", "Where is Robert Throgmorton?", "I need somewhere to stay.", "How do I get to Devil's Reef?", and finally "Goodbye.". Be aware that selecting "I need somewhere to stay" closes off other dialogue branches.
  8. 8
Proceed north along the pier to a sign with directions. Turn right towards the "exit" and go up the stairs to speak with Robert Throgmorton.
  9. 9
To advance the conversation with Robert Throgmorton, select: "What happened to your son?", "Who are the Innsmouthers?", "What do you know about the visions?", "I can try to find Albert.", "Tell me more about the case.", and "I'll be going.".
  10. 10
    Optional Investigation: Lifeboat Titania
  11. 11
Return to the sign that pointed to the exit. Go left down a path and then left towards the sea. The lifeboat will be beyond police barricades.
  12. 12
    Inspect the Lifeboat Name "TITANIA".
  13. 13
Examine the Diving Helmet, rotating it to search the front faceplate. Be mindful of your sanity draining while examining the helmet.
  14. 14
Find and read Albert Throgmorton's will on one of the seats inside the lifeboat (press Triangle to climb inside).
  15. 15
Returning Albert's Will to Robert Throgmorton unlocks an optional conversation.
Tips
  • If you own the Necronomicon Edition or DLC, you receive a Submachine Gun and 30 .45 ABP rounds. Use these sparingly as they deplete quickly.
  • Consider investing your first Skill Point into the "Absolute Clarity" Mind skill for a 5% XP bonus.
  • Lootable objects can be repeatedly searched for ammunition and crafting materials.
  • The Lifeboat Titania investigation is optional but rewards extra XP and an additional conversation with Robert Throgmorton.
Collecting all key evidence on the "Charon" Ship grants an additional 140 XP. Completing the optional Lifeboat Titania investigation also provides extra XP.
