Walkthrough
- 1On the "Charon" Ship:
- Collect your belongings from the table. This is key evidence.
- 2Pick up the briefcase to obtain a Letter from J. van der Berg (key evidence).
- 3Find the Camera (key evidence).
- 4Examine the Pistol: pick it up, rotate it until an eyeball symbol appears on the handle, and press X to examine. You will receive 6 .38 pistol rounds.
- 5Use the camera to take a picture of the trophy plate (additional evidence).
- 6Examine the flyer on the desk to the left of your belongings (additional evidence).
- 7Loot the locker to the right of the desk.
- 8Speak with Johannes van der Berg:
- Exit the ship by climbing onto the dock (Triangle).
- 9Engage in conversation. To progress, select: "About my problem.", "Where is Robert Throgmorton?", "I need somewhere to stay.", "How do I get to Devil's Reef?", and finally "Goodbye.".
- 10Find Robert Throgmorton:
- Proceed north along the pier.
- 11Turn right at the sign pointing to the bar and exit.
- 12Climb the stairs to automatically start a conversation with Robert Throgmorton.
- 13To progress, select: "What happened to your son?", "Who are the Innsmouthers?", "What do you know about the visions?", "I can try to find Albert.", "Tell me more about the case.", and finally "I'll be going.".
- 14Optional Investigation: Titania Lifeboat (Robert's Request):
- Return to the sign that pointed to the exit.
- 15Go left down a path, then left toward the sea.
- 16The lifeboat is beyond police barricades.
- 17Inspect the Lifeboat Name "TITANIA" (additional evidence).
- 18Find the Diving Helmet: rotate it and examine the front faceplate (additional evidence). Be mindful of sanity drain.
- 19Locate Albert Throgmorton's will on one of the seats (additional evidence).
- 20Climb inside the lifeboat (Triangle) to collect some evidence.
- 21Returning Albert's will to Robert Throgmorton unlocks an optional conversation.
Tips
- If you have the Necronomicon Edition or DLC, you receive a Submachine Gun and .45 ABP rounds. Use these sparingly as ammo is scarce early on.
- Consider investing your first Skill Point into the "Absolute Clarity" Mind skill for a 5% XP bonus.
