Navigate Salvation Harbor (Salvation Harbor North) in The Sinking City 2 with our comprehensive guide. Find key evidence, complete optional investigations, and learn about important NPCs.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
The "Charon" Ship: This is your first investigation location. Collect the following key evidence: your belongings (briefcase), the Letter from J. van der Berg, the Camera, and the Pistol. To collect the pistol, pick it up, rotate it until an "eyeball" symbol appears on the handle, and press X to examine. You will also receive 6 .38 pistol rounds.
  2. 2
Reloading Your Gun: After collecting the pistol, equip it using L1 to bring up the weapon wheel, select the gun, and press Square to reload.
  3. 3
Additional Evidence on the Ship: Use your camera to take a picture of the strange fish mounted on the wall. Examine the flyer on the desk to the left of where you collected your belongings.
  4. 4
Lootables: Search the locker to the right of the desk. Lootable objects can be searched repeatedly for ammunition and crafting materials.
  5. 5
Exit the Boat: Climb onto the dock by pressing Triangle.
  6. 6
Conversation with Johannes van der Berg: You will automatically start a conversation. To advance the game, select the following dialogue options: "About my problem.", "Where is Robert Throgmorton?", "I need somewhere to stay.", "How do I get to Devil's Reef?", and finally "Goodbye.". Choosing these options will lock out other conversational branches.
  7. 7
Find Robert Throgmorton: Proceed north along the pier and turn right at the sign pointing to the exit.
  8. 8
Conversation with Robert Throgmorton: To advance the game, select: "What happened to your son?", "Who are the Innsmouthers?", "What do you know about the visions?", "I can try to find Albert.", "Tell me more about the case.", and "I'll be going.". Other dialogue options are optional.
  9. 9
Optional: Titania Lifeboat (Optional Investigation): Return to the sign pointing to the exit. Go left down a path, then left toward the sea. The lifeboat is beyond police barricades. This investigation is optional but rewards 140 XP and an additional conversation with Robert Throgmorton.
  10. 10
Evidence in the Lifeboat: Inspect the "TITANIA" name on the Lifeboat. Examine the Diving Helmet (rotate and search the front faceplate; your sanity will drain if you hold it too long). Find Albert Throgmorton's will on one of the seats. You may need to climb inside the lifeboat (Triangle) to collect some evidence.
  11. 11
Return to Robert Throgmorton: After finding Albert's Will, return to Robert Throgmorton to unlock an optional conversation.
Tips
  • If you purchased the Necronomicon Edition or DLC, you receive a Submachine Gun and 30 .45 ABP rounds. Use this ammo sparingly as it depletes quickly.
  • Consider putting your free Skill Point (if applicable via DLC) into the "Absolute Clarity" Mind skill for a 5% XP bonus.
  • Lootable objects can be reset by leaving the area and returning, allowing for repeated looting of ammunition and crafting materials. Be aware that larger amounts of loot may indicate a more dangerous area.
  • The conversation choices with NPCs are important for game progression and unlocking optional content. Pay attention to the dialogue options presented.
  • The Titania Lifeboat is an optional investigation site. While not required for progression, it offers valuable XP and lore.
  • Optional: 140 XP for clearing the Titania Lifeboat investigation site.
  • Optional: Additional conversation with Robert Throgmorton after returning Albert's Will.
  • Potential XP bonuses for collecting all evidence in a location.
