A comprehensive guide to the Fish Market (6) in The Sinking City 2, detailing key objectives, evidence locations, and strategies for progression.
Walkthrough
- 1Upon arriving at the Fish Market, you will need to collect your belongings from the table. This includes your Letter from J. van der Berg, your Camera, and your Pistol.
- 2To collect the pistol, pick it up, rotate it until an 'eyeball' symbol appears on the handle, and press X to examine it. You will also receive 6 .38 pistol rounds. Remember to reload your gun before use.
- 3Examine the flyer on the desk to the left of your belongings.
- 4Use your camera to take a picture of the strange fish mounted on the wall. This is considered additional evidence.
- 5Lootable objects, such as lockers, can be found and searched for ammunition and crafting materials. These reset when you leave and return to the area.
- 6After collecting your belongings, exit the boat by climbing onto the dock using Triangle.
- 7You will automatically begin a conversation with Johannes van der Berg. Select "About my problem.", "Where is Robert Throgmorton?", "I need somewhere to stay.", "How do I get to Devil's Reef?", and finally "Goodbye." to progress. Be aware that choosing specific dialogue options will lock out others.
- 8Proceed north along the pier to find a sign with directions. Turn right towards the exit.
- 9As you ascend the stairs, you will start a conversation with Robert Throgmorton. To advance the game, select "What happened to your son?", "Who are the Innsmouthers?", "What do you know about the visions?", "I can try to find Albert.", "Tell me more about the case.", and "I'll be going.".
- 10Optional Investigation: Lifeboat Titania
- 11Return to the sign that pointed to the exit. Go left down a path and then left towards the sea. The lifeboat will be beyond police barricades.
- 12Inspect the Lifeboat Name "TITANIA".
- 13Examine the Diving Helmet, rotating it to find the front faceplate and search. Be mindful of sanity drain while examining the helmet.
- 14Collect Albert Throgmorton's will from one of the seats inside the lifeboat. You may need to climb inside using Triangle.
- 15Returning Albert's will to Robert Throgmorton unlocks an optional conversation.
Tips
- If you own the Necronomicon Edition or associated DLC, you will receive a Submachine Gun and 30 .45 ABP rounds. Use this ammo sparingly as it depletes quickly.
- Consider investing a Skill Point into the "Absolute Clarity" Mind skill for a 5% XP bonus.
- Lootable objects can be repeatedly searched for ammo and crafting materials.
- Be aware that lootable containers with large amounts of supplies may indicate an increased danger level in the area.
- The optional Lifeboat Titania investigation provides an additional 140 XP and an extra conversation with Robert Throgmorton, but is not required for case progression.
