The "Charon" Ship: This is your first investigation location. Collect all evidence to receive bonus XP.

Key Evidence: Your belongings on the table (briefcase, camera, pistol). To collect the pistol, examine it until an "eyeball" symbol appears and press X. You will receive 6 .38 pistol rounds.

Additional Evidence: Take a photo of the fish trophy on the wall with your camera. Examine the flyer on the desk.

Lootables: Search the locker to the right of the desk. Lootable contents are randomized and reset upon leaving and returning to the area.

Johannes van der Berg: After leaving the ship, climb onto the dock (Triangle). Engage in conversation with Johannes van der Berg. Key dialogue options to advance are: "About my problem.", "Where is Robert Throgmorton?", "I need somewhere to stay.", "How do I get to Devil's Reef?", "Goodbye.". Choosing these options will lock out other conversational branches.

Robert Throgmorton: Proceed north along the pier and turn right at the sign. You will automatically begin a conversation with Robert Throgmorton. Key dialogue options to advance are: "What happened to your son?", "Who are the Innsmouthers?", "What do you know about the visions?", "I can try to find Albert.", "Tell me more about the case.", "I'll be going.".

Titania Lifeboat (Optional Investigation): Return to the sign that pointed to the exit. Go left down a path and then left towards the sea. Find the lifeboat beyond police barricades.

Additional Evidence: Inspect the "TITANIA" nameplate, examine the Diving Helmet (rotate and search the faceplate, be mindful of sanity drain), and find "Albert Throgmorton's will" on a seat. You may need to climb inside the lifeboat (Triangle).
