Complete walkthrough for Reed Heights (Advent North) in The Sinking City 2. Find key evidence, complete optional investigations, and progress through the main story.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
On the "Charon" Ship: This is your first investigation location. Collect your belongings from the table. This includes your Camera and the Letter from J. van der Berg (obtained by taking the briefcase). Examine your Pistol by picking it up, rotating it until an eyeball symbol appears on the handle, and pressing X. You will receive 6 .38 pistol rounds.
  2. 2
Optional Evidence on Ship: Use your camera to take a photo of the trophy fish mounted on the wall. Examine the flyer on the desk to the left of your belongings.
  3. 3
Lootables: Search the locker to the right of the desk. Lootable contents are randomized and can be reset by leaving and returning to the area.
  4. 4
Speak to Johannes van der Berg: Exit the boat by climbing onto the dock (Triangle). Initiate a conversation with Johannes van der Berg. To progress the game, select: "About my problem." -> "Where is Robert Throgmorton?" -> "I need somewhere to stay." -> "How do I get to Devil's Reef?" -> "Goodbye." Note that choosing specific dialogue options locks out others.
  5. 5
Find Robert Throgmorton: Proceed north along the pier and turn right at the sign pointing to a bar and an exit. Ascend the stairs to automatically start a conversation with Robert Throgmorton. To advance the game, select: "What happened to your son?" -> "Who are the Innsmouthers?" -> "What do you know about the visions?" -> "I can try to find Albert." -> "Tell me more about the case." -> "I'll be going."
  6. 6
Optional: Lifeboat Titania Investigation: Ask Robert Throgmorton about the lifeboat where his son was found. Return to the sign pointing to the exit, go left down a path, and turn left towards the sea. The lifeboat is beyond police barricades.
  7. 7
Evidence at Lifeboat Titania: Inspect the Lifeboat Name "TITANIA". Rotate the Diving Helmet and search its front faceplate. Collect Albert Throgmorton's will from a seat inside the lifeboat (climb inside using Triangle). Be aware that looking at the diving helmet for too long will drain your sanity.
  8. 8
Return to Robert Throgmorton: After finding Albert's Will, return to Robert Throgmorton to unlock an optional conversation.
Tips
  • If you own the Necronomicon Edition or DLC, you receive a Submachine Gun and 30 .45 ABP rounds. This weapon consumes ammunition rapidly; save its initial clip for critical moments.
  • Consider investing a Skill Point into the "Absolute Clarity" Mind skill for a 5% XP bonus.
  • Lootable objects can be repeatedly searched for ammunition and crafting materials. Higher quantities of loot may indicate a more dangerous area.
  • The Lifeboat Titania investigation is optional but rewards 140 XP and an additional conversation with Robert Throgmorton.
Completing the optional Lifeboat Titania investigation grants an additional 140 XP and unlocks an extra conversation with Robert Throgmorton. Successfully collecting all evidence in a location before concluding the case yields an extra 140 XP.
