Alright, let's talk about Throgmorton Manor. This place is the residence of the Throgmorton family and it's a pretty imposing mansion located in the southern part of Oldgrove, which is the fancy district of Oakmont. You can get there by water from Coverside, or just walk from the rest of Oldgrove. It's got a real unique vibe, with stone exteriors, big columns, and these ape statues holding braziers on top. Inside, it's all about that African inspiration with jungle plants everywhere. ### Ground Floor When you first step into the entryway, you'll either find a casket or a cake, depending on when you visit. Keep an eye out for the Albert Throgmorton obituary on a small table nearby. To the left, there's a room with a big fireplace and a bearskin rug. Above the fireplace, you'll spot a map of Java. Further back is the kitchen and dining area, and a door there leads to a water access point on Marcussen St. ### Upper Floor Head upstairs, and you'll see a bunch of plants right at the top of the stairs, along with a piano, another bearskin rug, and a statue. The door near the piano opens into a bedroom. It's got furniture, a bed, and more plants. Above the bed, there's a painting or maybe a woodblock print. On the other side of the upper floor's entrance area, a hallway leads to a study. We'll need to find out more about what's in there! ### Basement The basement isn't super exciting, but you'll find some furniture, a big pile of barrels, and a pool table. Depending on when you're down there, you might run into a mourner. ### Trivia Just a couple of cool things to note: When you first visit, you'll see Albert Throgmorton's open casket with people around. If you come back later, those same people will be eating a cake shaped like Albert! Also, above the front pillars, you'll see the Latin phrase 'Scientia Vincere Tenebras,' which roughly translates to 'conquering darkness by science.'
