A complete walkthrough for Salvation Harbor (Salvation Harbor East) in The Sinking City 2, detailing key evidence, optional objectives, and NPC interactions to guide your investigation.
Walkthrough
- 1Collect Your Belongings: On the ship, your key evidence is your belongings on the table. Take them to allow the captain to proceed. This also grants you the Letter from J. van der Berg and the Camera.
- 2Examine the Pistol: Pick up the pistol, rotate it until an "eyeball" symbol appears on the handle, and press X to examine it. You will receive 6 .38 pistol rounds. Remember to reload your weapon before use.
- 3Find Additional Evidence: Use your camera to take a picture of the strange fish mounted on the wall. Examine the flyer on the desk to the left of your belongings table.
- 4Lootable Objects: Search the locker to the right of the desk. Lootable objects can be reset by leaving and returning to the area, providing continuous access to ammunition and crafting materials.
- 5Speak with Johannes van der Berg: Exit the boat by pressing Triangle to climb onto the dock. Speak with Johannes van der Berg. To advance, select the dialogue options: "About my problem.", "Where is Robert Throgmorton?", "I need somewhere to stay.", "How do I get to Devil's Reef?", and finally "Goodbye.". Be aware that choosing specific dialogue options will lock out others.
- 6Find Robert Throgmorton: Proceed north along the pier and turn right at the sign pointing to the bar and exit. Ascend the stairs to automatically begin a conversation with Robert Throgmorton. To advance, select: "What happened to your son?", "Who are the Innsmouthers?", "What do you know about the visions?", "I can try to find Albert.", "Tell me more about the case.", and finally "I'll be going.".
- 7Optional: Investigate the Titania Lifeboat: Return to the sign that pointed to the exit. Go left down a path, then left towards the sea. The lifeboat is beyond police barricades. Inspect the lifeboat name "TITANIA". Examine the Diving Helmet, rotating it to search the front faceplate. Collect Albert Throgmorton's will from a seat inside the lifeboat. Climbing inside the lifeboat requires pressing Triangle.
- 8Return to Robert Throgmorton: After finding Albert's Will, return to Robert Throgmorton to unlock an optional conversation.
