Walkthrough
- 1Collect your belongings from the table. This includes your Camera and a Letter from J. van der Berg.
- 2Examine your Pistol by picking it up, rotating it until an eyeball symbol appears on the handle, and pressing X. You will also receive 6 .38 pistol rounds.
- 3Use your camera to take a picture of the strange fish mounted on the wall (Additional Evidence).
- 4Examine the flyer on the desk to the left of your belongings (Additional Evidence).
- 5Loot the locker to the right of the desk.
- 6Exit the boat by climbing onto the dock (Triangle).
- 7Speak with Johannes van der Berg. To advance the game, select: "About my problem.", "Where is Robert Throgmorton?", "I need somewhere to stay.", "How do I get to Devil's Reef?", "Goodbye.". Note that choosing other dialogue options will lock you out of future conversations.
- 8Proceed north along the pier and turn right at the sign.
- 9Speak with Robert Throgmorton. To advance the game, select: "What happened to your son?", "Who are the Innsmouthers?", "What do you know about the visions?", "I can try to find Albert.", "Tell me more about the case.", "I'll be going.". Note that choosing other dialogue options will lock you out of future conversations.
- 10(Optional) To investigate the Lifeboat Titania: return to the sign, go left down a path, and turn left toward the sea.
- 11(Optional) Inspect the Lifeboat Name "TITANIA".
- 12(Optional) Examine the Diving Helmet, rotating it to search the front faceplate. Be mindful of sanity drain.
- 13(Optional) Collect "Albert Throgmorton's will" from a seat in the lifeboat.
- 14(Optional) Return to Robert Throgmorton with the will to unlock an additional conversation.
Tips
- The Submachine Gun and .45 ABP rounds are included with the Necronomicon Edition or DLC packs. This weapon consumes ammunition rapidly.
- Consider investing the free Skill Point (if applicable) into the "Absolute Clarity" Mind skill for a 5% XP bonus.
