Walkthrough for The Sinking City 2's Oakmont Police Department (5) mission. Find key evidence, complete objectives, and uncover the truth.
Walkthrough
- 1Upon arriving at the "Charon" ship, which serves as your first investigation location, collect your belongings from the table. This includes the Letter from J. van der Berg and the Camera.
- 2Examine your Pistol by picking it up, rotating it until an eyeball symbol appears on the handle, and pressing X to examine it. You will also receive 6 .38 pistol rounds.
- 3Use your Camera to take a photo of the strange fish mounted on the wall (Additional Evidence).
- 4Examine the flyer on the desk to the left of your belongings (Additional Evidence).
- 5Exit the boat by climbing onto the dock (Triangle).
- 6Speak with Johannes van der Berg. To advance the game, select the following dialogue options: "About my problem.", "Where is Robert Throgmorton?", "I need somewhere to stay.", "How do I get to Devil's Reef?", and finally "Goodbye.".
- 7Proceed north along the pier and turn right at the sign pointing to the exit.
- 8Climb the stairs to automatically begin a conversation with Robert Throgmorton. To advance the game, select: "What happened to your son?", "Who are the Innsmouthers?", "What do you know about the visions?", "I can try to find Albert.", "Tell me more about the case.", and finally "I'll be going.".
- 9Optional Investigation: Titania Lifeboat
- 10Return to the sign that pointed to the exit. Go left down a path, then left toward the sea. The lifeboat will be beyond police barricades.
- 11Inspect the Lifeboat Name "TITANIA".
- 12Examine the Diving Helmet, rotating it to search the front faceplate. Be quick, as your sanity will drain while looking at it.
- 13Find Albert Throgmorton's will on one of the lifeboat seats.
- 14Return to Robert Throgmorton and give him his son's will to unlock an optional conversation.

- Collecting all key evidence in a location grants an additional 140 XP.
- Completing the optional Titania Lifeboat investigation grants an additional 140 XP and unlocks an additional conversation with Robert Throgmorton.
