Complete walkthrough for The Sinking City 2's Coverside West (12) section. Find all key evidence, complete optional tasks, and learn about rewards.
Walkthrough
- 1Charon Ship: This is your first investigation location. Collect all key evidence to progress.
- Key Evidence: Your belongings on the table (briefcase, camera, pistol). To collect the pistol, pick it up, rotate it until an "eyeball" symbol appears on the handle, and press X to examine. You will also receive 6 .38 pistol rounds.
- 2Additional Evidence: Use your camera to photograph the strange fish mounted on the wall. Examine the flyer on the desk to the left of your belongings.
- 3Lootables: A locker to the right of the desk can be looted repeatedly for ammunition and crafting materials. Lootable contents are randomized.
- 4NPC Interaction - Johannes van der Berg: After collecting your belongings, you will automatically speak with Johannes van der Berg. Select the following dialogue options to advance: "About my problem.", "Where is Robert Throgmorton?", "I need somewhere to stay.", "How do I get to Devil's Reef?", "Goodbye.". Choosing other options will lock you out of further conversation branches.
- 5NPC Interaction - Robert Throgmorton: Proceed north along the pier and turn right at the sign. You will automatically begin a conversation with Robert Throgmorton. Select the following dialogue options to advance: "What happened to your son?", "Who are the Innsmouthers?", "What do you know about the visions?", "I can try to find Albert.", "Tell me more about the case.", "I'll be going.". Other options are optional.
- 6Optional Investigation - Titania Lifeboat: Return to the sign pointing to the exit. Go left down a path, then left towards the sea. The lifeboat is beyond police barricades. Collecting evidence here grants an extra 140 XP and an additional conversation with Robert Throgmorton.
- Additional Evidence: Inspect the Lifeboat Name "TITANIA". Rotate the Diving Helmet and examine the front faceplate. Collect Albert Throgmorton's will from a seat inside the lifeboat. Note: Looking at the diving helmet for too long will drain your sanity.
- 7Concluding the Optional Investigation: After finding Albert's Will, return to Robert Throgmorton to unlock an optional conversation.
