Follow this guide to investigate the "Charon" ship in The Sinking City 2, collecting key and additional evidence to progress the "A Frosty Welcome" case.

The "Charon" ship serves as your initial investigation location in The Sinking City 2. While no formal crime has occurred, you must collect evidence before departing. Gathering all evidence yields bonus XP.

Key Evidence:

1. Your Belongings: Collect your belongings from the table.
2. Letter from J. van der Berg: Found within the briefcase.
3. Camera: A usable item for taking pictures as evidence.
4. Pistol: Pick up, rotate until an eyeball symbol appears on the handle, and press X to examine. You will also receive 6 .38 pistol rounds.

Note on Reloading: Your gun is not loaded initially. To reload, equip the gun via the L1 weapon wheel and press Square.

Additional Evidence:

1. Photo of a trophy plate: Use your camera to photograph the fish mounted on the wall.
2. Flyer: Examine the flyer on the desk to the left of your belongings.

Lootables: Objects marked with a specific symbol can be searched for ammunition and crafting materials. These reset when you leave and return to the area.

Optional Investigation: Titania Lifeboat

To access this optional area, return to the sign pointing to the exit, then go left down a path and left towards the sea. This investigation site does not add to your casebook but grants bonus XP and an additional conversation with Robert Throgmorton.

Additional Evidence in Lifeboat:

1. TITANIA: Inspect the Lifeboat Name.
2. Diving Helmet: Rotate and examine the front faceplate. Be mindful of sanity drain while examining.
3. Albert Throgmorton's will: Located on one of the seats.
